Villa Rentals ~Fethiye and Calis

First rented in 2008, Sarakiz Villa is a beautiful 4-bedroomed villa situated in the quiet rural region of Ciftlik (pronounced Chifflick) and only 700m from the beach.

The villa has been tastefully furnished with good quality practical furniture and has a private outdoor swimming pool. The villa has all the holiday essentials, including pool sun-loungers, BBQ, washing machine, TV with DVD/CD player, secure safe, air conditioning in every room including bedrooms.

Ground Floor

Lounge - with 2 sofas, coffee table, TV, DVD/CD player, selection of DVDs to suit all ages, fireplace, A/C unit.

Entrance Hall - chest of drawers contain books (please feel free to leave your finished books) and games.

Dining Room - large table seating eight people.

Kitchen - electric hob and oven with extractor fan, large fridge with ice freezer, fully equipped with settings for eight persons, plastic bowls, plates and cups for the toddlers. Safe fitted into cupboard.

Bathroom - useful downstairs bathroom with sink and toilet.

Utility Room - Washing machine, iron and board, hoover and cleaning equipment.

Balcony - french doors lead onto the balcony where you can enjoy your breakfast in the morning sun. The balcony is fenced so completely safe for children. A gate leads onto the poolside terrace.

All rooms have A/C units which double as heaters for guests in winter (you can go skiing in the Taurus mountains).

First Floor

Three bedrooms and two bathrooms as follows:

Bedroom 1 - master bedroom with double bed, en-suite bathroom (shower, sink, toilet), A/C, balcony to enjoy the sunset from. Fitted with wardrobe and drawers, bedside cupboard and lamps.

Bedroom 2 - twin beds, A/C. Fitted with wardrobe and drawers, bedside cupboard and lamps.

Bedroom 3 - single bed and room for a single fold-up bed or cot, A/C. Fitted with wardrobe and drawers, bedside cupboard and lamps.

Bathroom - bath/shower, sink, toilet.

Attic Floor

Attic bedroom - twin beds, en-suite bathroom (shower, sink, toilet), A/C. Fitted with wardrobe and drawers, bedside cupboard and lamps.

Cleaning / Towels / Linen

Full set of towels and linen is provided. We look after cleaning these after your visit.
A cleaning service, laundry service and change of linen and towels is available on request.

Outside

The villa sits in a large 500m plot, and is one of four.

Sarakiz villa has a good zie (8m x 4.5m) private swimming pool next to villa. This is cleaned every day so you can enjoy your early morning swim. Pool loungers, sun umbrellas, chairs and tables are all provided. Access to the pool from the balcony is child-safe as a metal gate must be unlocked first.

The garden is walled on all sides to ensure your privacy. Parking is available within the grounds. A BBQ is provided so you can relax and enjoy an evening meal in the garden. The garden is maintained and plants and flowers ensure that the garden remains attractive in all seasons.

Notes on Accommodation

Air-conditioning unit (A/C) doubles as heater if required.

Additional fold up bed or cot can be provided at no extra charge (ideal for bedroom 3). Any special requirements can be catered for on request.

The area is flat and paved although no specific mobility problems have been catered for.

We use an excellent property management company who will be on hand throughout your stay should you need any help with the villa. We also provide you with a copy of the Villa User Manual to explain how everything works.

Coast/Beach

The local beach is about 700m where there are beach bars and restaurants. A pleasant 20 minutes walk along the beach road leads you to the town of Calis from where you can get to Fethiye by water taxi.

There are small hotels nearby which also have restaurants. The Dolmus (local bus service) takes you to Calis (5 minutes) or Fethiye (20 minutes). A taxi service is available about 5 minutes from the villa.

Transport is very cheap and you will find many companies offering boat trips and day excursions in Fethiye marina.

Golf

Skiing

Skiing is available in the Taurus mountains, about 4 hour drive away.
The ski resort at Davras is a popular resort which is close to the towns of Egirdir and Isparta.

Travel

About 45 minutes to Dalaman airport through the new tunnel (3 YTL toll each way). Transfers to/from Dalaman Airport can be arranged if you let us know at the time of booking, approximately £60 return (depending on numbers). Click here for details of airport transfers.

If you take advantage of the airport transfer service the driver will meet you at the airport with a sign showing your name. This service is dedicated to you - there will be no other pickups or drop-offs on the way, so you will be at the villa within an hour of passport control.

Car hire is useful for sightseeing but the local bus service and taxi are ideal for local areas including Calis, Fethiye and Olu Deniz.

We have used EuropCar in the past and prices vary depending on season, but around £25 per day for a Renault Clio.

Booking notes

Discount available for out of season bookings and bookings longer than one week. Rental rates do not include beach and pool towels. We always provide you with a welcome basket within the price. A security deposit of £250 is payable at the time of booking, refundable within 4 weeks after the end of your stay.
